The Domino’s ethos has always been about convenience for customers – even being the first pizza company in Australia to offer home delivery all these years ago. This ethos has worked its way through everything we do from creating piping hot pizzas for value prices all the way to our innovative technology.
By creating mobile apps on all platforms, a responsive website, easy click ordering system and making pizza tracker available on smart watches we are making it easier for customers to order – which means Domino’s give them their time back to do the things they enjoy.
Domino’s are committed to being at the forefront of technology innovation. The way technology is evolving and the pace in which it is moving means Domino’s are always trying to come up with the next innovative idea and amazing technology to bring to the market. Domino’s are always trying to think about the next thing that could make ordering quicker and easier for our customers and getting their pizzas out to them for them to enjoy.
It was this thinking that lead to the development of DRU – Domino’s Robotic Unit, an autonomous delivery vehicle. It was also how GPS Driver Tracker came about – we thought to ourselves “How can we make our delivery drivers safer” and after months of creating, designing and trialing a system we now have this amazing new technology as part of our fleet. By being able to track their pizza from the store to the door Domino’s are giving customers back their time and helping drivers stay safe.
