London-based Hydrate.Direct has employed the latest in Internet of Things (IoT) technology, using a ‘smart button’ that allows customers to order more water for their cooler in a single touch.
The button – like the Amazon Dash button used by major FMCG companies – is a secure WiFI-connected device that can be set up by the customer in minutes. It is pre-configured to know the customer’s delivery and payment details, and what quantity of bottled water they want with each order.
Customers with the Hydrate.Direct button simply press the button when their water is running low and receive a new water delivered the next day.

The button is a WiFi-connected device that reorders water at the press of a button. Your button is already set up to know who you are, how many bottles you want, and where to deliver to.
EASY TO SET UP AND USE
Just connect your button to your WiFi using the app on either iOS or Android. It’s super quick and once connected hang or stick your button and you’re good-to-go. Just press the button and get water
